Discreet simplicity. Beauty and sensitivity.
Clean lines, chromatic harmony and quality materials: from the façade of a building to the hand-embroidered cushion, everything in Biquadra’s projects blends together seamlessly. No object is interchangeable because it accurately and precisely emphasizes the soul of the place and the personality of the people behind it.
The activity of the architecture and design studio Biquadra is a mix of architecture, interior design and custom-made creations. Christina Biasi-von Berg and her team work on the entire design process from start to finish and, true to Milanese tradition, they do not separate architecture from design. Regardless of the size of the project, whether it is a multi-story building or a piece of furniture, the essence of a product destined to become unique and unmistakable stems from the same sensitivity and the same aesthetic ambition.
Every detail is born with a precise function.
Starting from the inside, the vision turns outwards, with special regard for people and their environment. From respect for the history of the location, its specificity and the personality of those who live there, the genius loci is born, characterized by a passion for beauty and sensitivity in dealing with pre-existence and innovation.
Each project is unique and personalized. In touch with the history and the soul of a place, the projects are conceived and created with passion and sensitivity.
Christina Biasi-von Berg’s style stands out because she knows exactly what creates harmony and balance between people and their surroundings, and has an extraordinary receptiveness to materials, light and color. Thanks to the work of skilled craftsmen and the use of materials capable of withstanding the passing of time these two features interact perfectly.
